Qigong: Movement, Meditation & Meaning Class comprises all elements of this millennia-old Chinese practice: martial, psycho-spiritual and physical. Qigong classes include guided meditations and simple movements for balance, healing, strength, detoxification, calm mind and enlivened spirit. .
Taiji (Tai Chi) is an ancient Chinese martial art with many benefits and joys. Students begin by learning a circular, elegant and slow series of postures that comprise all aspects of this healing art from physical, psycho=spiritual and martial. Each class builds on the prior lesson building a sequence of new and repeated postures. One can improve focus, balance, strength, stamina, and general well being. But most important, one can begin to sense oneself through practice. Often thought of as a moving meditation, Taiji awakens awareness of energies within and beyond our body. Our classes embody the physical, spiritual and martial aspects of this art form.
Seed of Taiji An introduction. Dip your toe in the waters of this ancient art. Learn fundamentals; explore concepts, postures, energy and spirit of the form. For beginners, the curious and continuing students for perspective on postures and energy within and outside of the form.
